Chocolate Doughnuts

VEGAN/GLUTEN-FREE/REFINED SUGAR FREE

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup date sugar
  • 3 tbsp applesauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup non dairy milk
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup vegan chocolate melted

Instructions

  1. To start off, preheat your oven to 375F and prepare your doughnut pan
  2. In a small bowl stir together the milk and vinegar and set aside
  3. In a large bowl add the oil, sugar, vanilla, and applesauce and mix till well combined. Once incorporated mix in the milk and vinegar mixture
  4. Next in a separate bowl sift in the flour, cacao powder, baking soda, and salt. Pour over the wet mixture and stir till well combined
  5. Scoop into the doughnut pan and bake for about 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
  6. Let the doughnuts cool for a couple minutes before taking out of the pan and coat in the melted chocolate
